This is a little project I tried out. I was walking through Michael's last week and saw these cute little canvases with little wooden easels and I asked myself "I wonder if I can stamp on these?" So I bought a package which contained two each of the canvases and stands. I used this image from the new stamp set Harvest Home (C1419.) Since the canvas is unbacked in the middle, after positioning my stamp on the front I carefully turned the canvas, stamp, and acrylic block 'sandwich' upside down and gently pressed the canvas into the stamp from the backside. Then I painted my little canvas with acrylic paints and inked the edges. Didn't it turn out pretty cute? This might work for a children's project if an adult does the stamping and then lets the children color the image with our markers. I think Staz-On ink would work best with our markers but our regular inks worked just fine with acrylics.

Now "Hop" on over to Carol Horton's blog http://carol-scrappininparadise.blogspot.com/2010/08/ctmh-new-product-blog-hop.html to see her work! 1. Very cute! Would be a great kids' workshop. The canvas's could be pre stamped or you could create a little block they could fit over (to make the colouring easier too)
